[Bug 573787] Re: Evince does not start in LTSP environments
After studying apparmor, I would say this really isn't a bug but a feature. The only bug would be adding documentation for how to use apparmor with non-standard home directories: create a file /etc/apparmor.d/tunables/home.d/custom with the contents: @{HOMEDIRS}+= note: custom could be any name, because by default, it sources all files in that directory for example, I have a little more complex environment, where I have a base /astro that's an auto-mount from ldap, and then users type/username, so for my tunable file I use the following line: @{HOMEDIRS}+=/astro/*/ Where a users home directory would be for example /astro/staff/abc123 Sam -- Evince does not start in LTSP environments https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 608928] Re: Problem running evince locally and remotely via ssh
By modifying tunables/home HOMEDIRS I was able to fix the problem. I guess this can be closed now that I know what the problem is. I'll just add that file to my controlled svn repository of config files I maintain on all client machines. [Bug 609147] [NEW] incompatible version of emulateapj with revtex4-1
Public bug reported: emulateapj.cls should be upgraded to: http://hea-www.harvard.edu/~alexey/emulateapj/emulateapj.cls. [Bug 609147] Re: incompatible version of emulateapj with revtex4-1
A work-around that may work for you is to place the old emulateapj.cls and revtex4.cls in the same directory as your latex document. That should be higher in the hierarchy so they override the installed versions. I haven't had anyone in my department (Penn State Astronomy) have any problems with the latest emulateapj. They've all been really happy with it here to my knowledge. -- incompatible version of emulateapj with revtex4-1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
