I am having this problem since Lucid release. My computer locks up with ubuntu and kubuntu both 32 and 64 bit. When (K)ubuntu locks up (both of them) my mouse icon is like I am on a link to website (finger with hand icon). mostly locks up on firefox random webpage. And my scroll lock and caps lock icons begin to flash by the way... Had to restart when that happens.
