Vlee states: "How can I get that information? As originally reported, the system just hangs and the keyboard and mouse do not work." Vlee obviously can't get to Vlee's logs. At this point, Vlee has probably removed Vlee's Ubuntu 9.04 system. Vlee might even be annoyed that Vlee is being asked for information that Vlee does not possess. Relevant logs are attached to this bug -->. Why can't they be used? Should I open a new bug and attach the files as the bug reporter? Will that help something to happen? Is this bug a duplicate of something else? I'm not a coder, so I'm really not equipped to evaluate this, but I've looked through the xserver-xorg-video-intel list and there appear to be similarities. Like I said, I'm not equipped to say. Can somebody who knows something look? I hope this comment isn't redundant, but my experience has been that yes -- the b43legacy driver (b43 module) is present, but it doesn't work for me. I have a rev 3 card which does not work with the b43 driver. The b43 module at least causes the interface to be recognized, but it won't associate with an AP. The legacy module loads, but dmesg shows absolutely no activity -- the interface is not recognized at all. I'm just a dabbler -- I have nothing constructive to contribute. Hey - So sorry in advance for asking a question: On Ubuntu 14.04, I can switch to Korean (Hangul) input - it shows "Ko" in the indicator, but the input actually never changes from English.
