[Bug 146677] JAVA_HOME not set after upgrade of package

2007-09-29 Thread RobbievdB
Public bug reported:

After todays upgrade of the java6 packages, the JAVA_HOME variable
hasn't been set.

Tried to set is using update_alternatives --config java , but the
variables haven't been set.

It's a minor nuisance, which can be circumvented by f.i. setting the
JAVA_HOME variable in bashrc, but it's not desirable

** Affects: sun-java6 (Ubuntu)

Can be ignored, was due to some hard linking in the conf files of
netbeans.

I've got the same problem, though running thunderbird in safe mode at
least enables you to read the mail.

[Bug 9392] Re: Proper myspell dictionary should be installed at installation time

2007-04-11 Thread RobbievdB
I can confirm that it's still happening. I installed Feisty last week
(not using the live-cd but the other one)

As I just need the spelling check working in Open office I installed via
the menu the Language support for Dutch. It installs all necessary files
except the myspell-nl. This needs to be manually installed.

I agree with Ralf that for the average user this will not work. By
default myspell-nl should be installed together with the other stuff for
the Dutch language.
