[Bug 371066] Re: xorg key events not registering causing missed keypresses and sticking key repeats
I can confirm that I am experiencing this bug also - in Ubuntu Lucid, on a Dell Studio 1535 laptop. -- xorg key events not registering causing missed keypresses and sticking key repeats https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371066 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 951790] Re: Laptop does not suspend on lid close when external display is connected
I agree, being able to disable suspend when an external monitor is connected make perfect sense (even if it's not the default behaviour). I've installed gnome-tweak-tool and "Laptop lid, when closed, will suspend even if there is an external monitor plugged in." is disabled, but it happens anyway. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/951790 Title: Laptop does not suspend on lid close when external display is connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/951790/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 522996] Re: Keys get stuck on Dell Studio 1535
Has there been any update on this issue? I'm still experiencing problems after a fresh install of 11.10. [Bug 1164753] Re: boots to a black screen with a cursor
This has started happening to me since I upgraded to raring. [Bug 522996] Re: Keys get stuck on Dell Studio 1535
I can confirm this this is still an issue in Natty, on a brand-new install on a Dell Studio 1535. Also, keys are missed every so often, causing misspellings all over the place. Very frustrating! Re: [Bug 1762364] Re: failed to load grub2 on reinstallation ubuntu 16.04.01 64bit
As you've taken so long to respond to my initial request I'd forgotten about it but it's no longer an issue - I've since solved the problem myself. Thank you. On Thursday, 24 May 2018, 00:36:47 GMT+10, Phillip Susi wrote: Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted the installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that this could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode install, or partition the disk using GPT and set up an EFI system partition to install in EFI mode. This will be done for you if you choose the "use entire disk" guided install option. ** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1762364 Title: failed to load grub2 on reinstallation ubuntu 16.04.01 64bit Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Problem occurred during a clean install on 160gb hard disk.
