[Bug 1770595] [NEW] Invesalius crashes at startup @ Ubuntu 18.04
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 18.04 x 64, clean installation, tested on two different notebooks and in one VM, problem persists everywhere. Invesalius 3.1.1-1~xenial was installed from Ubuntu own repository, but, when you try to start this program, it's splash screen appears for a moment, then disappears, and that's it. No window to create crash report, nothing. Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JV0EOkidR1k By the way, same problem was with Ubuntu 16.04, if you'll not install invesalius-bin package (.deb files were obtained from Invesalius site in that case). In Ubuntu 18.04 installation of this package doesn't help, though. ** Affects: invesalius (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770595 Title: Invesalius crashes at startup @ Ubuntu 18.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/invesalius/+bug/1770595/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1739578] Update Released
Hi guys Thanks for updates. I checked if it’s available in the latest (edge) core snap for Ubuntu Core 16. The manifest file says that Netplan version used there is `nplan 0.32~16.04.6`. Is it planned to get support for this feature in ubuntu core 16? [Bug 1717857] [NEW] UDisks2 interface restricts sending DBus.Properties.Get message from the client to udisksd service
Public bug reported: I'm getting DBus DENIED errors when trying to get a list of mount points using `DBus.Properties.Get` call on the "/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/block_devices/mmcblk0p2" path. I think it's because DBus part of "udisks2:service" slot of the "udisks2" interface is too restrictive on this particular type of message. Look at connected slot apparmor[1], you will see that it allows sending DBus.Properties interface messages, but not receiving them. That snippet is inserted to the udisks2 AppArmor file and only allows udisks2 to send DBus.Properties message from udisks2 to the client, but not vice versa. More information could be found in the bash session[2].
