[Bug 146303] Re: [M6] laptop freezes when connecting power supply
Installed Jaunty to Omnibook vt6200. With default settings machine freezes when connecting or disconnecting power supply. I browsed some bug reports with this error and noticed this: http://webui.sourcelabs.com/kernel/issues/2754 I then added to xorg.conf, devices section: Option "AGPMode" "1" . After this everything seems to be working. [Bug 146303] Re: [M6] laptop freezes when connecting power supply
I am unable to ssh to machine when it is freezed. I don't see anything intresting in logs after freeze and reboot. Latest updates seems to change kernel power save features and my fix does not work anymore. This machine does not freeze with Mandriva 2009, but I think Mandriva does not use Powernowd. Just testing Jaunty 9.04 alpha-2 with my Omnibook 6200. Problem still exists, but I can make DRI and Powernowd work together by using p4-clockmode as advised in bug #80459.
