[Bug 1468541] [NEW] Presence of Package Causes Errors
Public bug reported: I installed this package under the assumption that I could use the global app menu with Plasma 5 (as it turns out I can't) but use of this package produced another strange effect I was not expecting: When installed, a user cannot set their widget style to anything but GTK+ in System Settings -> Application Style -> Widget Style Trying to set it to Breeze or Fusion had no effect. The GTK+ widget style does not seem to allow for icons on window buttons nor in the window's viewing pane (System Settings no icons appeared at all.) I've removed the package and was able to restore proper behavior. [Bug 1515133] [NEW] Docky w/Multiple Desktops
Public bug reported: Just installed kubuntu backports for Wily and now Docky will only run on the desktop I start it on; typically it's pinned to every desktop. I have 8 desktops on my PC (two rows of 4) and I use the pager applet on Docky. If I launch on one desktop and switch to another, Docky remains only on the desktop it's launched on. ** Affects: docky (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: docky multi-desktop unusable -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1515133 Title: Docky w/Multiple Desktops To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/docky/+bug/1515133/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1512010] [NEW] UI Becomes Unresponsive
Public bug reported: When starting up any torrent the UI for the application will become unresponsive for periods of time. Most of the time the UI will recover from this state, but no crash occurs and there is no trace I can provide at this time. Using the System Activity window to view ktorrents process list will occasionally show that one of the ktorrent process has entered a zombied state. I use KTorrent to seed some ISOs, but if I choose to download something new this issue can make it almost unusable. I'm willing to take any steps as directed to provide some useful information on this bug and will continue to work to track down the issue with maintainers/developers. ** Affects: ktorrent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gui unresponsive -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1512010 Title: UI Becomes Unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ktorrent/+bug/1512010/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1512010] Re: UI Becomes Unresponsive
Apologies, I forgot to mention my platform information. I'm running Kubuntu Wily on an amd64 w/8Gb RAM and 1GB Swap on an SSD and on NVidia GTX 750 GPU with desktop effects enabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1512010 Title: UI Becomes Unresponsive To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ktorrent/+bug/1512010/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=235&t=121510 This topic covers this issue. The 1TB SATA HDD I save data to from torrents is attached to the PC using an X-Dock slot; essentially removable media for 3.25" and 2.5" drives.
