[Bug 1003312] [NEW] [M31EI Series, Realtek ID 861] No sound at all from speakers or headphones
Public bug reported: Sound was working very well in 11.10, after upgrade to 12.04 there is no more sound. Initially after upgrade there seemed to be no ouput devices listed in the Sound settings. After adding a line to config file (options snd-hda-intel model=generic) there is an "Analog Outuput" entry, but still no sound. Re: [Bug 1003312] Re: [M31EI Series, Realtek ID 861] No sound at all from speakers or headphones
Hello, thank you for the advice. I have updated to 12.10. The randomsound package is not installed, but the problem is still there. Do you have other ideas? It works. Thank you very much! Do you want to close the report or should I do something?
