[Bug 110095] Re: totem-mozilla not working in firefox 3 (minefield)
Hi there! As far as I know, Firefox 3 hasn't been released yet. Is there any chance that you made a little typo? If this bug may have a chance at beeing fixed, the following information is needed: What version of Ubuntu are you running? (6.06 Dapper, 6.10 Edgy...) What version of totem-mozilla and totem are you running? You can check that in Synaptic by searching for totem for example. Are there any specific websites that doesn't work, or is it everywhere? [Bug 490238] Re: Video Player does not show any video, but has audio, if connected to an external monitor (dual monitor setup)
Hi everyone! Just a thought here, but I remember having similar problems a couple of years ago, both on windows and ubuntu, and if I remember correctly, the screen that you want to play movies in needs to be the primary screen(ie, set the external screen as primary, and your laptop screen in this case, to secondary). Or you can, as browman said above, choose to use "mirror mode". This is the same as in windows, so it's probably related to hardware and/or graphics drivers. [Bug 802305] [NEW] No sleep mode after fullscreen movie playback
Public bug reported: After a movie has finished playing in fullscreen, totem continues to block the system from going into sleep mode. This is probably 'cause it does not quit fullscreen mode after playback end. To ways to fix this: either fix the fullscreen code, so that it stops stopping the system from going into sleep mode when playback has stopped, or, like VLC - quit fullscreen mode when playback ends, thus allowing system to go to sleep. It's my humble opinion that this is a serious flaw in totem - just think of all that energy being consumed! The environmental impact of fixing this bug enourmous. [Bug 814693] Re: Ubuntu 11.04 hangs up
Hi Prabagaran! Thank you for reporting this bug. Before the developers can do anything about your problem, they probably need more information. Now, I am not an expert, but I will try to help out here. My initial though is that this could be a problem with powersave functions not working correctly on your computer. You could test this either fast by changing the settings, so that they will activate very soon, like 1 minute, then see if your computer is working. Do this with every powersave setting, one by one, and write down if they work or not. Now, the second way is to disable all powersave functions, and if the problem is still there, we know it is not related to these functions, however if it works - then we know it is one of the powersave functions, and we need to do it the previus way. Whenever you have more information, please share them with us, and we will do our best to find out what causes your problems, and hopefully we will togheter be able to fix it.
