[Bug 285323] Re: Losing keyboard and mouse control when changing screen brightness with fn + arrow under intrepid
Hi all It would be good to know why everything worked perfectly with 7.04, 7.10 and 8.04. If it were a question of BIOS issue/kernel workaround, why should if ever have worked before? Thanks in advance for solving this problem! dmidecode -t bios | head -8 # dmidecode 2.9 SMBIOS 2.3 present. Handle 0x, DMI type 0, 20 bytes BIOS Information Vendor: Dell Inc. [Bug 396709] [NEW] 0.9.15: irregular excessive cpu usage
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio Pulseaudio has irregularly a high cpu usage on older thin clients used as LTSP clients which causes interruptions of sound (approx 2 sec or more). LTSP connects pa to localhost and uses an ssh socket for connection to the server. With 0.9.14 I experienced similar problems like https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ltsp/+bug/236936. [Bug 413134] [NEW] wrong autoconf? LVDS Display within DVI-0 display enabled by default
Public bug reported: I use Ubuntu Jaunty with ii ltsp-server5.1.65-0ubuntu2 Basic LTSP server environment The auto configuration gives me a second LVDS though I have a thin client with only one DVI output. I can be disabled via Display settings in gnome or kde, respectively with XRANDR_OUTPUT_0 = "DVI-0" XRANDR_OUTPUT_1 = "LVDS --off" in lts.conf. Anyhow that shouldn't be necessairy. Using xrandr implies other problems for me. Also with XRANDR_DISABLE = True the LVDS is enabled. So it propably isn't due to problems with xrandr. If the LVDS is enabled CPU usage of xorg doubles at least. That makes especially some java applications unusable (e.g. xmaple). $lspci | grep Radeon 01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS690M [Radeon X1200 Series] r...@s500-6:/# dpkg -l | grep radeon ii xserver-xorg-video-radeon1:6.12.1-0ubuntu2 X.Org X server -- ATI Radeon display driver ii xserver-xorg-video-radeonhd 1.2.5-1 X.Org X server -- AMD/ATI r5xx, r6xx display ** Affects: ltsp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: ldm ltsp lvds xorg xrandr -- wrong autoconf? [Bug 2064877] Re: Resume from Standby vmnet1/8 connected instead of Wired LAN
Hy, I found a workaround for me to copy a file /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/LAN-Homenet.nmconnection from my old Jammy installation AND do not apply any changes in kde-settings. There are only one lan-connection without vmnet1/8 an resume from standby reconnect correctly -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2064877 Title: Resume from Standby vmnet1/8 connected instead of Wired LAN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/netplan/+bug/2064877/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
