Same behaviour here, for the recently released 14.04 build. [Bug 1085172] [NEW] lubuntu-software-center crashes when clicking on package in app basket, running swedish language pack
Public bug reported: Just installed Ubuntu 12.04 with Swedish language pack and noticed that Lubuntu Software Center crashes when I click on a package in the app basket. It doesn't happen to all packages, firefox for example works fine. The arduino and ifrit packages are a couple of those who causes the program to crash. I switched to English language pack and managed to download the arduino package without truble (didn't try ifrit). Some kind of character encoding error perhaps? I can only agree with the above posts. The gestures were extremely useful. I am about to donwgrade to 12.04 or 12.10 just to get them back.
