[Bug 1582630] Re: Long text is written over timestamp in UI
It happens if the sender has a long enough name (not, as I described in the original report, if the message also is sent to a group). See attachment. ** Description changed: 15.04 r329 (krillin) - When receiving a text message from a person with a long name, and the - message is sent to more people (see attachment), the text "Very Long - Name and two others" is written on top of the timestamp. - - My apologies for the bad censoring of the name---the important part is - to the right in the picture. + When receiving a text message from a person with a long name (see + attachment), the text "Very Long Name and two others" is written on top + of the timestamp. ** Attachment added: "phubuntu-overlay.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/messaging-app/+bug/1582630/+attachment/4664790/+files/phubuntu-overlay.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1582630 Title: Long text is written over timestamp in UI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1582630/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
