[Bug 1833280] [NEW] Wayland windows becomes bigger every quit/launch cycle, KDEP 5.16/KDEF 5.59
Public bug reported: Since the last major series of updates from the kubuntu-ppa/ppa, I've noticed that Wayland-native windows will progressively become bigger every time they are quit and reopened. This issue does not apply to either X sessions or Xwayland windows opened in the Wayland session. >From my limited testing, Wayland-native software like Konsole, Dolphin, Discover, System Settings all became larger every time I quit and reopened them. For example, Konsole—which flashes it's dimensions when opened—began with 114 x 64. After quitting and opening it, the window was 115 x 66. ** Affects: kubuntu-ppa Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: wayland ** Description changed: Since the last major series of updates from the kubuntu-ppa/ppa, I've noticed that Wayland-native windows will progressively become bigger every time they are quit and reopened. [Bug 1683702] Re: Cannot upgrade from 16.10 to 17.04
Why would oibaf or any other PPA cause a hold-up? Doesn't the upgrade process explicitly state that it's disabling third-party sources? Third party sources disabled Some third party entries in your sources.list were disabled. You can re-enable them after the upgrade with the 'software-properties' tool or your package manager. To continue please press [ENTER] Does that mean only non-PPA repos? I think PPAs should be considered to be disabled in that case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1683702 Title: Cannot upgrade from 16.10 to 17.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1683702/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

My touchpad can support multi-finger taps, and I assure you, three-finger tap for middle-click does NOT work. Only the top-right corner tap does. [Bug 1617718] [NEW] Desktop Guide Middle-click Tips & tricks outdated
Public bug reported: The Tips & tricks page for Middle-click is clearly outdated. It mentions three-finger tap to emulate middle-clicks, but since a few releases back, middle-click emulation is done by tapping the top-right corner. Let me repeat that question: do I do that after triggering the bug or not? I'm fully aware what apport-collect is and how to run it. [Bug 1576052] Re: Scrollbar on gtk3 has inconsistent behavior
If it's done on purpose, it needs a good reason. And I don't see any good reason to break OS-wide, old, bug-free and cross-platform standard behavior. Admittedly, I've yet to use the new GNOME Shell, where the default gtk3 scrollbar behavior may possibly be as I described. However, this package is specifically meant for Ubuntu which has retained the old tried-and- true behavior in all gtk3 apps; therefore Firefox should also conform. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1576052 Title: Scrollbar on gtk3 has inconsistent behavior To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1576052/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Okay, I rechecked. I was wrong. [Bug 1576605] [NEW] Activating menu items creates permanent space between title bar and tabs
Public bug reported: This bug applies to all Firefox versions since Unity brought global menus. However, only Firefox is affected, I've not observed any other app with a similar issue. What I expected: * Activating a menu item to simply display the relevant menu and cause no further interface changes What happened instead: * Activating a menu item displays the relevant menu and introduces a space between the titlebar and tabs The change is persistent as long as the window is open. Resizing or maximizing makes no difference. Enabling and activating menus from the title bar causes the exact same effect. Closing the window and reopening it from History's "Restore Closed Windows" removes the space.
