[Bug 362182] Re: Amarok 2 lost support for iPhone-like devices - Choice between 2 and 1.4?
Just want to add that I too have experienced this when upgrading for 9.04 and as a result have had to switch to gtkpod and ifuse. But I still have problems (slow, directory syncing doesn't work well) so I would love to see whatever needs it get support for these non-physical fuse/sshfs/etc filesystems. -- Amarok 2 lost support for iPhone-like devices - Choice between 2 and 1.4? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362182 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 321086] Re: iPod Nano - Error transferring Track - Could not write to resource
I experienced this same issue but was able to fix it in my case. If you "delete" everything on the ipod (Move to Trash), it will put it in the .Trash/files folder on the device, but not actually delete them until you empty your trash. This means the space is still being used. Couple that with Rhythmbox (and other's) cryptic messages about not writing to resource and you will most likely find that your iPod is full. I'm not certain that your situation is the same as mine but you could try going to /media/[ipod's name]/.trash/files and deleting (REALLY deleting) everything there, then attempt to sync files to it after that. It would probably be helpful to say something more like "Cannot write to resource, if you know it is writable please check empty your trash and try again" or something that might point a user to the next step of emptying the trash. Or a check before sync that would check the .trash folder and ask the user if they would like to empty before sync. -- iPod Nano - Error transferring Track - Could not write to resource https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 89381] Re: File Upload dialog has no preview for images
Luis, thanks so much for your deb file, but when I try to apt-get anything it replaces it with the other firefox deb. Ghostvirus, I'd love to see this ticket fixed and closed. Obviously there are enough people who want this feature, should I add a linking ticket to Mozilla's bug tracking system? -- File Upload dialog has no preview for images https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/89381 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Jonathan, could you have installed anything funky? [Bug 89381] File Upload dialog has no preview for images
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox I don't know if this is a defect or new feature request. The file upload dialog looks standard to gnome but it does not have the option to show a preview for image filetypes. If you need a screenshot comparison let me know. There are help forum threads discussing this deficiency. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1840382 has some good comparison screenshots. I would prefer the ability to have a "Preview Pane" to see the picture (if a valid type is selected) AND be able to change the current view to the equivalent of "View As Icons" in Nautilus. Let me know if you have questions. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- File Upload dialog has no preview for images https://launchpad.net/bugs/89381 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I neglected to mention my OS: Ubuntu Edgy 6.10 x86, however I also booted up the latest test release of Feisty 7.04 and there is still no way to view image previews. ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox I don't know if this is a defect or new feature request. Re: [Bug 89381] Re: File Upload dialog has no preview for images
Hi Alexander, Sorry I haven't replied before now. I can't think of any gnome utilities that provide that and tried a few but they did not. Do you think it's possible for Firefox to provide this function? Gimp provides that preview, it looks as if it's using the same upload dialog. Is that a good example? If not I'll try to find some more. :) On 3/24/07, Alexander Sack <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Sat, Mar 24, 2007 at 05:35:54PM -, Ookadoo wrote: > > I noticed this is marked "Needs Info".
