Re: [Bug 102921] Re: Moving the mouse cursor over the gnome-system-monitor temporarily causes network and disk usage to become zero

2009-03-09 Thread Nicolas Dufour
I was connected to a wifi network.
It was pretty funny to see the effect of the mouse hover to reset the graph
measure.

[Bug 339727] [NEW] Mouse Hover modifying the network reading

2009-03-08 Thread Nicolas Dufour
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

Description:Ubuntu 8.10
Release:8.10

gnome-system-monitor:
  Installed: 2.24.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.24.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Expect to see a steady graph when the download bandwidth is really 100%.

Step to reproduce the bug:

1. Start several network download to cover 100% of your bandwidth and observe
100% in the system monitor
2. Hover the mouse in the network widget and observe sudden decrease of the
measure
3. Hover out from the widget and observe another sudden decrease of the measure.

It seems those 2 events (mouse in, mouse out) in the widget affect the
data in the graph.

** Affects: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 109416] Corrupted Jar File in libtomcat5.5-java

2007-04-23 Thread Nicolas Dufour
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libtomcat5.5-java

Tomcat 5.5 cant start because it cant find the class Mapper located in
tomcat-util.jar.

By simply using "jar tvf tomcat-util.jar", I realized that this file was
corrupted :

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/lib/tomcat5.5/logs# jar tvf
/usr/share/tomcat5.5/server/lib/tomcat-util.jar | grep Mapper

   557 Tue Jan 16 12:52:30 CET 2007
org/apache/tomcat/util/http/mapper/Mapper$Wrapper.class

bytes)

I have compared also the file size to the one from tomcat 5.5.23 (the package
is tomcat 5.5.20), and there is something missing. The jar from the tar.gz
directly from tomcat at apache website is fine and has the class Mapper.
