[Bug 1665150] [NEW] Starter shoudl be displayable on selected screens

2017-02-15 Thread NeoTheThird
Public bug reported:

If Ubuntu 16.04 or 16.10 is used with multiple monitors, the starter can
be set to be displayed on either all screens or just one of them. It
would be better, if there were an option to enable the starter for
selected screens.

[Bug 1199774] Re: No calDAV and iCalendar support

2016-12-02 Thread NeoTheThird
I disagree. I think it does make sense to ship it in ubuntu-system-
settings-online-accounts, so that more sync functionality can be added
later. Owncloud and Nextcloud are also capable of syncing Contacts,
Tasks and Notes, it would be totally rad if you could set the account
settings once and have everything working! And no, using Google for this
is not a good option. If i wanted to sell my soul, i'd be using android
or iOS.

Btw, the bounty is now 100$ :)

[Bug 1647057] [NEW] Updater chooses wrong packages on Ubuntu 16.10

2016-12-03 Thread NeoTheThird
Public bug reported:

When running on Ubuntu 16.10, the sdk tries to update and install
packages designed for 16.04 and fails. Log:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/23572929/

This can be avoided by simply not checking certain packages or purging
the SDK, clearing the apt-cache, reinitializing the PPA and then
reinstalling it. So it's not a huge issue, but certainly an annoyance.

[Bug 1648077] [NEW] Support for Mozilla Location Service (A-GPS)

2016-12-07 Thread NeoTheThird
Public bug reported:

Currently, A-GPS is only available on commercial UT-devices through
Nokia HERE. This is a real problem for users of community ports (like
those provided by ubports.com). Also, the HERE service is closed source
and proprietary, that's kind of odd for the free operating system we all
want Ubuntu Touch to be.

I suggest that we try to implement the Mozilla Location Service, which
is a free and open source location service:
https://location.services.mozilla.com/

There is a bounty on Bountysource on this:
