Okay. I thought that it should be similar problem. I had these troubles
with Wi-Fi and touchpad at the same time (every time) few months ago.
Sorry.

Hi,

Yes I did have Racoon installed at the same time. Don't know if this can
work but at this time the shrewsoft VPN client does install after I
installed my system again.

So this 'bug' can be closed.

It seems that everything is ok for now. Is it important to test that Jaunty
kernel for you? I can do that but not now... I'm out of the space so I have
to burn all that films before. ;)

[Bug 243827] Re: download freezes after some time

2008-10-15 Thread moob
When I'm downloading some large file as a
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=project-
open&filename=project-open-VMware-3.3.2-1.zip&use_mirror=dfn is I can't
download it at all. There is problem with Pausing and Continuing of
download. I can Pause it and again click to continue but if connection
is lost it tells me just that file can't be saved and I can't Continue
any more. Should this be solved somehow? Thank you.

I still can't edit that "folders" under main menu. I can't create new
folder too (it looks like often but folder isn't created).

I have question. I here anybody who have the main menu edit dialog as
slow as I have? I can tell you it is damn slow.

[Bug 34501] Re: [HARDY] touchpad lockup/drag and lost scroll

2008-10-21 Thread moob
Yeah. I can confirm that new kernel solved this problem. I'm running on it
since 10.10. and it comes just twice again but in different form. After next
update (15.10.) I didn't have similar problem. I will test it later again and I
will tell you verdict.
... Usually I had these problems when I started to use SD card, flash disk and
wi-fi.

[Bug 34501] Re: [HARDY] touchpad lockup/drag and lost scroll

2008-10-22 Thread moob
Well, it is working much better. Touchpad was working fine.
But during testing I've got twice out of connection. NetworkManager is looking
like properly connected but I can't reach (ping) any public host.
/var/log/messages:
Oct 22 11:57:58 Pavlinka NetworkManager: (wlan0): supplicant connection
state change: 7 -> 3

One and only help is to remove and plug ndiswrapper again:
sudo modprobe -r ndiswrapper
sudo modprobe ndiswrapper

Can someone confirm this?

[Bug 316994] Re: [upstream] exporting to MediaWiki.txt is broken

2009-02-12 Thread moob
Hello,
I've found the same problem. Solution is here:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=96279

As a temporary solution (if you can't wait for next OOo release) there is a
working (for me) xslt:

Error in english:

[Bug 243827] Re: download freezes after some time

2009-02-13 Thread moob
Well. I have all the stuff and firefox at the latest version
(Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; cs-CZ; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009020911
Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.6).

Let's do following, please:
1. Start to download this:
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=project-open&filename=project-open-VMware-3.3.2-1.zip&use_mirror=dfn
2. Press "Pause downloading".
3. Press "Continue". [Everything is ok.]
4. But try to disconnect from network (unplug cable). Why can't download go to
the "Pause" state, heh? ;)

That's all. I hope you understand.
Dunno if Gerardo Castro means the same issue as I'm.
