[Bug 544446] Re: Only pdftex, no pdflatex or latex, available
Did you move it somewhere specific or just rename the directory? Just renaming didn't work for me :( -- Only pdftex, no pdflatex or latex, available https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/56 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 544446] [NEW] Only pdftex, no pdflatex or latex, available
Public bug reported: Only using Ubuntu 10.04 (since the alpha releases, completely upgraded as of March 22) As usually, I wanted to compile my .tex files using pdflatex. This time however, it spit out some errors and quit. I quickly discovered the reason: Both latex and pdflatex only start pdftex. This is not what I expected or wanted. texlive-latex-base and texlive-latex-extra are installed. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: latex ** Description changed: Only using Ubuntu 10.04 (since the alpha releases, completely upgraded - as of March 22 + as of March 22) As usually, I wanted to compile my .tex files using pdflatex. [Bug 1054282] Re: No obvious way to restrict shopping suggestions from displaying adult products
Seriously? People, grow up and do something useful ... You know what happens when you type "penis" into Google? Guess what, you get to see lots and lots of penises. (even with strict safe search). If you don't want to see penises (or boobs, or whatever) than don't search for it. There's simply no point trying to filter search results to not show what you just searched for, other than satisfying people who have nothing better to do than sit around all day and moan.
