[Bug 238366] Re: open office crashes on start (hardy)

2008-06-20 Thread Michael Hanson
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 185311 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185311

Strange, same issue here. Only happened after I installed XFCE4 and some
related programs. Upon uninstalling "xscreensaver", the problem is
solved.

[Bug 516347] Re: Clicking on trash icon makes desktop disappear

2010-02-02 Thread Michael Hanson
I also confirm this. It just started on 2/2/2010.

Clicking on the trash applet icon in the panel, if the trash bin has
items in it, causes all desktop items to dissapear and the trash window
crashes immediately upon opening.

However, when the trash bin is empty, clinking on it works as normal.

When items are in the bin, i must go to ~/.local/share/ and remofe the
"Trash" folder. This results in an empty bin and properly functioning
applet, and once I click on the trash applet again (now that Ive deleted
the Trash folder) the Trash window appears and all desktop icons
reappear. Once I trash a new item it breaks again.

I am on:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description:Ubuntu 9.04
Release:9.04
Codename: jaunty

[Bug 606734] Re: f-spot add-in repository is 404 Not Found

2010-12-08 Thread Michael Hanson
Indeed this has existed along with enough other bugs that have kept
F-Spot from being of any use for some time. It's a complete failure on
Ubuntu's part to even include this crap.

[Bug 725878] Re: Message about root password is obnoxious

2011-02-27 Thread Michael Hanson
I think we have come to a positive resolution/solution. The ops in IRC
made a change to the ubottu language.

Thank to everyone who showed an interest.

Cheers.

[Bug 790538] Re: pam update causes cron to stop working with "Module is unknown" error

2011-05-31 Thread Michael Hanson
@Marc: Thanks. All is well. People need to RELAX. S*#@ happens sometimes
and for this to pop up and be fixed so quickly is brilliant work from
the Ubuntu maintainers. Its a bit juvenile to expect perfection when it
exists nowhere else and especially because no one here paid for for
Ubuntu.

Thanks again for all the hard work.

Cheers

Mike
