[Bug 1585043] [NEW] rabbitmq-server fails to start when /var/log/rabbitmq does not exist

2016-05-23 Thread Michael Baudino
Public bug reported:

rabbitmq-server fails to start (`sudo service [re]start rabbitmq-
server`) if the log directory (`/var/log/rabbitmq` by default) does not
exist.

It's a frequent use-case for people who mount `/var/log` as `tmpfs`
(e.g. for SSD optimization).

The script just hangs forever and does not provide any useful output nor
(you guessed it) any log.

Running `sudo mkdir /var/log/rabbitmq && sudo chown rabbitmq:rabbitmq
/var/log && sudo service rabbitmq-server restart` starts it
successfully, though.

Bug noticed on rabbitmq-server 3.6.2-1 but it may affect other versions
too.

Feel free to ask more information, I reproduce this bug every single
morning when starting my computer ;-)

** Affects: rabbitmq-server (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 945603] Re: lxkeymap crashed with IndexError in finish_initializing(): list index out of range

2012-04-28 Thread Michael Baudino
I was also affected by this bug.
I just installed the package in the Lubuntu Staging PPA and it's now working
perfectly.

[Bug 951585] Re: gvfsd-afp consumes 100% of processor cycles

2013-01-14 Thread Michael Baudino
I can confirm I have the exact same bug with Lubuntu 12.10 x64 using
PCManFM do connect a dynamically mounted afp share on a MacOSX in my
LAN.

Exactly like @marten-behm, it seems.

[Bug 159356] Re: System freeze on high memory usage

2011-11-24 Thread Michael Baudino
My computer is freezing like this several times a day (usually for 1 to
5 minutes), and I'd love to know what's going on with this bug... Any
news, anyone ?
