[Bug 58455] Can't Boot with splash boot option.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usplash I am trying to install Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft off the daily-live disk from Aug. 31st. The disk will boot up to the point where usplash dissappers and then I just get a blank screen. Removing splash from the boot options will allow the cd to boot properly. When installing from the alternate-cd Ubuntu installs perfectly and even keeping the splash option in the boot settings will allow Ubuntu to boot.
