[Bug 249650] Re: Workspace switcher preview compressed after increasing Visual Effects
I have the same problem in 8.10 beta. I use only 4 workspaces (2x2). The workaround mentioned above also does work for me. The computer I am using does not use the ATI Radeon drivers so I am assuming that is not the cause. Also I did not move the bars around so that is unlikely to be it as well. One thing that I did do prior to starting compiz initially was I renamed the workspaces. It is probably unrelated however compiz did not keep the names instead refering to them as "Desk 1" through "Desk 4" -- Workspace switcher preview compressed after increasing Visual Effects https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/249650 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: When opening an email that has been digitally signed using s/mime instead of displaying the signed information I receive the message "Digests missing from enveloped data". However prior to the upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04 this worked correctly. Re: [Bug 353429] Re: Digests missing from enveloped data
It happens every time I receive a signed s/mime email. My only thought on reproducing the problem would be to try to open a signed email. I am attaching an mbox containing one signed email (a test email I just generated) which shows this problem. [Bug 361863] [NEW] Pop up window not working from reader.google.com
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox Description:Ubuntu 9.04 Release:9.04 firefox: Installed: 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status I use reader.google.com to subscribe to some podcasts. When displaying a new podcast a flash mp3 player is displayed with a link next to it saying "Popout". In 8.10 when clicking on the popout link a small window would appear with the player displayed. in 9.04 when I click the link it opens up a new tab but nothing loads in it. I am able to work around this issue by changing the "New pages should be loaded in:" to be "a new window" instead of "a new tab" (which is my preference). *note* in 8.10 I had it set to "a new tab". ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Pop up window not working from reader.google.com https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/361863 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 361863] Re: Pop up window not working from reader.google.com
Step by step instructions are use reader.google.com, subscribe to an podcast such as: http://leoville.tv/podcasts/floss.xml When viewing one of the items click on the "Popout". If the browser is set to display new pages in a new tab then it will open up a blank tab (change in behavior from 8.10). If it is set to display new pages in a new window then it will work as expected. [Bug 351622] [NEW] system lockup after a few seconds of X startup
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04, and after the upgrade I rebooted and had no problem. I noticed (by running a uname -a) that I was still running the kernel from 8.10 (2.7.11) and so I changed my grub menu.lst (why it did not update automatically I am not sure) and rebooted. The computer started up normally however once the GDM screen appeared I entered my user name and password and the login process started and almost immediately locked up. I rebooted, still in the new kernel, and waited a little bit (maybe 20 seconds) then tried the same thing and it locked up during the time I was entering my password. I booted back into the old kernel and have not had a problem since. This appears to be (in my mind) a video driver issue as there are some items mis-displayed when in X in the new kernel, however I can not be sure of that. >From lspci the video card in my system is: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) Please let me know if you need any more information or if you would like me to test potential fixes. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- system lockup after a few seconds of X startup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351622 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173678] Re: zsh does not complete after apt-get install
This is fairly standard for zsh. It speeds up it's tab completion by storing potential commands. if after installing a package (or uninstalling) you type "rehash" it will rebuild it's tab completion to display the new commands (or remove the old ones depending on what you did). -- zsh does not complete after apt-get install https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173678 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
