[Bug 1932552] [NEW] php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8
Public bug reported: Package should be updated to symfony/dependency-injection:4.4.9 at least, since it's the first release of v4 that is supporting both php7 and php8. I think that, anyway, using current last available point release (that is 4.4.25) would be better. See https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/issues/16968 for a related bug. ** Affects: symfony (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932552 Title: php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/symfony/+bug/1932552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1932552] Re: php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8
Well, phpmyadmin is typically a package used in a server environment. As you know, usual servers are kept on LTS releases. Do you think an update for focal could be feasible? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932552 Title: php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/symfony/+bug/1932552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1932552] Re: php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8
Well, the weird thing is that you didn't have 4.4 in focal, being Symfony support release planned with a long advance. Now 4.3 is out of support (even for security fixes) and I guess that this not nice for an LTS -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932552 Title: php-symfony-dependency-injection not working with php 8 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/symfony/+bug/1932552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1907177] Re: Please remove php8.0 from Ubuntu 21.04
Now php8 is not in pre-release anymore, it's in final release since last December. [Bug 792216] [NEW] about:startpage depends on selected search engine

[Bug 792216] Re: about:startpage depends on selected search engine
Well, I understand the requirement of working with Yahoo and Baidu, but what about every other searches? To get that two ones working, it's broken for everything else... don't look so good to me. It should be not so difficult to add a white-list of searches that trigger the homepage, and a fallback for others. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/792216 Title: about:startpage depends on selected search engine -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
