Public bug reported: I really don't know what has started to go wrong with Ubuntu at present. 2 days ago had problems with 11.10 lost wireless, this has been an ongoing problem on my laptop with 10.10 and 11.04 yet 10.04 always worked. Had to format and re install windows 7. Then 10.04 on my pen drive caused problems, formatted 16 gig drive, not yet re installed ubuntu. Now this is my main computer on 11.04, cannot afford to lose this one! HELP. Brilliant system, have been running 11.04 on my main quad core, upgraded from 10.04. Running 11.04 on my net book. Now running 11.10 0n my laptop, finally got rid of Windows 7. Until now laptop would only run ubuntu on pen drive linux ubuntu 10.04. I could not get wireless to work on 10.10 or 11.04. Works great on 11.10 until I install hardware drivers. Then wireless stops working, weird. Anyway thanks for a great system.
