[Bug 330199] Re: filters don't always apply
I have opened a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org if you would like to track it: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=573120 -- filters don't always apply https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330199 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 330199] [NEW] filters don't always apply
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution 1) Intrepid, fully up to date 2) evolution 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 3) I have evolution setup to read gmail through imap. I have setup evolution to filter my messages, and currently have about 30 filters. Sometimes evolution will filter a message, sometimes filters won't apply to the message at all. If I select the unfiltered message and manually choose "apply filters to selected messages", then the message is filtered correctly. 4) I expected filters to apply to all messages. I have noticed these errors in my ~/.xsession-errors (evolution:6501): filter-CRITICAL **: filter_option_add: assertion 'find_option(fo, value) == NULL' failed (evolution:6501): filter-CRITICAL **: filter_option_add: assertion 'find_option(fo, value) == NULL' failed (evolution:6501): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL parameter. [Bug 330199] Re: filters don't always apply
I ran evolution with the following command: CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution &> evolution.log This unfortunately created a 60 meg log file and has a lot of personal data in there that I am not comfortable posting. I will be happy to to look through it or send you parts of the log file if you can tell which parts you need. As far as reproducing this bug, here's how I have evolution setup. I am connecting to gmail using imap. I don't have any tags setup in gmail, so everything comes through in the INBOX. I have setup custom labels inside of evolution. I then setup filters similar to: if sender is "b...@blah' then set label 'work' I even have a catch-all filter (the very first filter) that is: if all then set label 'inbox' I then have virtual folders setup to display messages based on their labels. Most of the time messages are filtered correctly and the virtual folders display them correctly. But several times a day, I'll get a batch of new messages that don't seem to get filtered (they don't even match the all filter that sets the 'inbox' label). I have noticed something odd. Occaisionally I'll get new messages which appear to be filtered correctly, and I can see that I'll have unread messages in my virtual folders. But as soon as I click on a virtual folder, the messages dissapear from that folder and the unread count goes back down to zero. The messages are still marked as unread in my imap INBOX, but they seem to have lost all their labels that the filters should have applied. So I wonder if my filters are working correctly, but for some reason, messages are losing their labels? -- filters don't always apply https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330199 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173147] Re: epiphany doesn't always display page's css correctly (64-bit only)

[Bug 173147] Re: epiphany doesn't always display page's css correctly (64-bit only)
I have been using firefox (2.0.0.11) for several days and have not experienced any of the problems with it that I experienced with epiphany. Another problem I had with epiphany that may or may not be related is that occasionally the Save As dialog would look like firefox's instead of epiphany's, except none of the buttons or options would work, and I would have to kill epiphany. Another site that gave me problems with epiphany often was gmail. It would render correctly, but I couldn't have gmail open in two tabs at once. It would always time out in the second tab and take me to the html interface instead. At this point, gmail would usually stop refreshing correctly, and I usually had to restart epiphany to get it working again. -- epiphany doesn't always display page's css correctly (64-bit only) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 173147] epiphany doesn't always display page's css correctly (64-bit only)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser Epiphany seems to randomly display pages incorrectly. These pages normally display correctly in epiphany, but sometimes it looks like epiphany is ignoring the page's css. Reloading the page will rarely fix the problem, however, closing and reopening epiphany seems to always fix this. I have only been able to reproduce this under 64-bit gutsy. My 32-bit gutsy machine doesn't have this problem. This problem seems to happen a lot on last.fm and facebook, but occasionally happens on other sites too. ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- epiphany doesn't always display page's css correctly (64-bit only) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I too can confirm this bug. On my laptop, Dell Latitude D620, I have a temp on both cores of 61C, and cannot seem to get it lower than that.
