[Bug 451562] Re: [ASUSTeK eeepc 901] late resume failure
I am regularly updating the OS on this netbook, right now it has the latest 2.6.31-20 generic kernel and I have not seen suspend or resume failures anymore. Let's close this. -- [ASUSTeK eeepc 901] late resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 531872] Re: xserver-xephyr doesn't support swedish/finnish keyboard layout
I was trying to reproduce this in Lucid and this is how far I got. Apparently Xephyr does not support -kb anymore, so I used this command: Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 800x480x16 -dpi 96 -ac -keybd evdev,,device=/dev/input/event4,xkbrules=xorg,xkbmodel=evdev,xkblayout=fi then I got: Failed to open evdev device /dev/input/event4 and sure enough, I can not input anything to Xephyr with the keyboard. All files in /dev/input are owned by root and only root has read/write permissions. Google did not help with the error message either. -- xserver-xephyr doesn't support swedish/finnish keyboard layout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/531872 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 451562] [NEW] [ASUSTeK eeepc 901] late resume failure
Public bug reported: The laptop did not suspend, so I selected reboot from the menu. The new boot process got stuck after fsck, so I pressed the power key briefy. There was a quite normal looking shutdown and a now successful reboot. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have appeared to have completed normally.
