[Bug 1794655] [NEW] Firefox: Modal dialogs with password fields instantly hide.

2018-09-26 Thread Lutchy Horace (Bug Management)
Public bug reported:

When I use Bitwarden extension by clicking on the icon, the popup
immediately hides. See [1], although further digging suggest the bug
was/in iBus, see [2] and [3]. Although, the source (or code path)
originates from Gnome-Shell, see [4] and [5]. There is a propose fixed
but it hasn't been merged. I'm reporting the issue here, so it can at
least be tracked and I can get notified when it arrives in Ubuntu.

Note: This issue affects all extensions that uses 'password field', see
[6].

Dist-Version: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

This issue was reported in 2015 upstream and nothing has been done about
it. See https://sourceforge.net/p/taskcoach/bugs/1593/. Right now, this
package is broken.

Addendum, see https://sourceforge.net/p/taskcoach/bugs/1661/, the bug
has been assigned and hopefully the fix(es) are implemented by next
release!

Additionally, see https://sourceforge.net/p/taskcoach/bugs/1660/.

[Bug 1756739] [NEW] Banshee crashes on importing music

2018-03-18 Thread Lutchy Horace (Bug Management)
Public bug reported:

Banshee crashes here when importing music

*** Error in `banshee': free(): invalid pointer: 0x5624c0881da0 ***

Disabling all extensions throws this error instead:

Banshee.exe assert failure: *** Error in `banshee': double free or
corruption (out): 0x561bcc873ec0 ***

How do you save apport stack trace to human readable file to upload
later, or at least how to get apport report number?

If you need anything else from, please ask, I'll provide anything I can
find. Thanks

[Bug 1757229] [NEW] Oracle containers will fail to start because of missing /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lxc/dev

2018-03-20 Thread Lutchy Horace (Bug Management)
Public bug reported:

How to produce?
1. On a latest Ubuntu 17.10
2. Install lxc1 (2.1.0 here)
3. Run as root: lxc-create --name=OracleLinux7 --template=oracle --
--arch=x86_64 --release=7.latest
--rootfs=/mnt/disks/hgst/part_3/var/storage//lxc-images/OracleLinux7
4. Run as root: lxc-start --name=OracleLinux7

What actually happens?

the container in foreground mode.
lxc-start: OracleLinux7: tools/lxc_start.c: main: 372 Additional information
can be obtained by setting the --logfile and --logpriority options.

What should happen?

Return nothing and start normally

When I review the differences between
/usr/share/lxc/config/debian.common.conf and
/usr/share/lxc/config/oracle.common.conf. The following parameters are
omitted from /usr/share/lxc/config/oracle.common.conf:

# This derives from the global common config
lxc.include = /usr/share/lxc/config/common.conf

# Doesn't support consoles in /dev/lxc/
lxc.tty.dir =

The following is set in /usr/share/lxc/config/common.conf:

# Setup the LXC devices in /dev/lxc/
lxc.tty.dir = lxc

[Bug 1757229] Re: Oracle containers will fail to start because of missing /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lxc/dev

2018-03-20 Thread Lutchy Horace (Bug Management)
The generated container configuration had an incorrect lxc.rootfs.path
parameter. Instead of "lxc.rootfs.path =
dir:/var/lib/lxc/OracleLinux7/rootfs", it should have been
"lxc.rootfs.path = dir:/mnt/disks/hgst/part_3/var/storage//lxc-images/OracleLinux7". When --rootfs= argument is passed to the
Oracle template.

[Bug 1348688] Re: kernel does not support limiting swap usage (memory.memsw.limit_in_bytes missing)

2015-02-28 Thread Lutchy Horace (Bug Management)
I had enconntered this same issue. I am not quite sure if it's CONFIG_*
option not enabled or else however I was able to remedy the issue by
adding 'swapaccount=1' to the kernel line. That in turn enabled
memory.memsw.* options in cgroups. Hope this helps you.

Sincerely yours,
LH
