Same bug. claws crash while changing view options for folders. I remove "new", "not read" and "total", then add again "new". At that moment the visible columns were "new" and "folder" in that order. I rearrange them to "folder", and "new". I can workaround the bug disabling KMS on nouveau driver using the modeset=0 module param.
