[Bug 185551] Re: hardy, krita-kde4 doesn't start, complains about .desktop files not found
If I remember correctly you only had to kbuildsycoca (or the KDE4 equivalent... maybe kbuildsycoca4?). [Bug 263089] Re: Please translate "dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a'" message
Some time ago in ubuntu.es they half jokingly decided to run a poll about this. The question was "What would you do if you got the 'dpkg --configure -a' error?" A lot of people __really__ didn't know what to do in case they got this error. I know it's not too hard to find out what the error means, but I also think that having Ubuntu (and this error in particular) localized would make life easier for a a lot of people. Googling errors only because they are in English shouldn't be the way to solve this kind of issues. -- Please translate "dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a'" message https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263089 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 157860] Re: ooimpress freezes when trying to open an existing file through the wizard
I changed the GTK theme from "Use my KDE style in GTK applications" to "Qt" and the problem stopped. The funny thing is that I switched the GTK theme bacl to what it was (to see if that was causing the problem) and I couldn't reproduce the bug anymore. Very weird. Maybe I changed something else in the meantime and that solved the problem... I don't know. The good thing is that this doesn't seem to be a real bug so it can probably be marked as invalid.
