Hello sojourner, Thanks for your bug report. Can you please attach the files in /var/log /dist-upgrade in order to better diagnose the problem. Also, did you have Synaptic open when you did the upgrade? - see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/99343 Thank you, Leo -- [apport] package update-manager failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: SystemError in cache.commit(): installArchives() failed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 68912] Timestamp 2.0 plugin does not work
Public bug reported: The Timestamp plugin in Gaim 2.0.0 beta 3.1 isn't working properly. When the plugin is enabled, it adds the timestamp once, but fails to do so after that. By default, a timestamp should be added every 5 minutes. ** Affects: gaim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Timestamp 2.0 plugin does not work https://launchpad.net/bugs/68912 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 69137] Human theme missing tab close button
Public bug reported: The Human theme does not show a close button on unfocused tabs. The close button is only visible when the empty space is hovered over. [Bug 77303] Firefox crashes when Xorg color depth set to 16
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox After setting the color depth in xorg.conf to 16, I always experience a crash when trying to view Youtube.com or Gmail.com (Gmail's crash only happens after logging in). I'm running an up-to-date Edgy. This is an excerpt from xorg.conf. I don't know what other information would be relevant. [Bug 77303] Re: Firefox crashes when Xorg color depth set to 16
It seems I can't reproduce the bug anymore. Maybe a recent update fixed it. I don't normally run 16 bit (was only doing so to try see if a game would run better), so I wouldn't have noticed when it got fixed. -- Firefox crashes when Xorg color depth set to 16 https://launchpad.net/bugs/77303 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 69137] Re: Human theme missing tab close button
The problem is the icon is not included in the theme. close.png in human.jar is missing a 4th icon. Replacing close.png with this file solves the problem for me (I just copy and pasted another orange tab). Now all my tabs have close buttons. Maybe someone can create a proper icon and this can be fixed? ** Attachment added: "tab close button" http://librarian.launchpad.net/5093675/close.png -- Human theme missing tab close button https://launchpad.net/bugs/69137 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
