[Bug 938602] [NEW] Unstable connection when using WPA encryption with RTL8187SE Wireless LAN Controller
Public bug reported: I have done a lot of testing narrowing down this bug and I am led to believe it is the wpasupplicant package or the driver for my wireless card, I had been using WPA2 encryption for my router and have suffered frequent cut-outs in my connection, more so when another device is downloading and connected to the same router. I had changed from WPA to WEP and have not suffered one disconnect in my 2-3 days of using this method. Here is the question I asked over on Ask Ubuntu with relevant information: http://askubuntu.com/questions/52238/wireless-keeps-cutting-out-every-several-minutes-on-a-realtek-rtl8187se If this is wrong then I do apologise, I don't really know where to go with this now.
