Just to inform, this bug happens on Fedora 11 too

I think it is Gnome related. I fix it moving from Gnome to XFCE.

[Bug 339783] Re: Separate X-screen, apps launched from 2nd screen appear on first screen

2009-03-31 Thread Leandro Carneiro
Well, I am with the same problem. I am using Jaunty beta, with Nvidia
driver 180.37.

I really believe this is a gnome problem. Most reproductive with
nautilus because it refuses to open on the secondary screen.

I hope you guys fix this fast

[Bug 763005] Re: Compiz's "Sync to Vblank" makes display stutter/slow with some drivers (like fglrx)

2011-08-24 Thread Leandro Carneiro
Well, I turned the sync to blank option on compiz and corrected the refresh
rate and the desktop is now usable. It was fast using Ubuntu on Virtualbox on
Windows!
Anyway, what I saw with glxgears is this: a constant framerate of 60fps! I
don't know if this is a coincidence, but it appears to me that have, somewere,
a frame rate limit misconfigured elsewere...
