I have certificate and config made by Ipcop firewall. network-manager-
openvpn worked before these latest updates but now it works only from
command line with sudo. Rebooting does not help.

I think updated ffmpeg package should be included into hardy-updates

get proper video playback.

[Bug 575102] [NEW] Selecting file with "Browse..." -button fails if used more than once

2010-05-04 Thread Lazy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Steps to reproduce:
0. Start downloading something big (it needs to take longer to download than
completing the next steps so Ubuntu image might be a good choice)
1. Go to http://imageshack.us/ for example
2. Click "Browse..." and select some file
3. Click "Browse..." again and try to select something

Step 3 fails every time on my computer. The file won't get selected by
single click and if I double click it seems to select some random file.

[Bug 975477] [NEW] Enabling trackpad with Fn+F8 doesn't work after the computer wakes up from sleep

2012-04-06 Thread Lazy
Public bug reported:

If I disable trackpad on my Lenovo and then put the computer to sleep,
trackpad won't work after waking up.

Steps to reproduce the error:
1. disable trackpad with Fn+F8
2. close the lid to put the computer to sleep
3. open the lid and log in
4. Fn+F8 doesn't do anything

Putting the computer to sleep while trackpad is enabled it works
perfectly after waking up and it can be enabled and disabled with the
Fn+F8 combo.

Maybe others should also check "this bug affects me" so the developers
will know it isn't just me who has seen this problem.

This seems to be a kernel problem instead of a Unity problem. I tested
suspending with an older 3.0.0-17 kernel and it works as expected.

[Bug 977178] Re: After upgrading to 12.04, flash doesn't seem to be installed to Firefox even though the package is.

2012-04-09 Thread Lazy
Workaround for this is to run the following command:

sudo apt-get --reinstall install flashplugin-installer

But this should be fixed properly, because otherwise there will be tons
of pissed off users whose youtube videos won't work after upgrading.

How about reading these bug reports from time to time instead of marking

[Bug 977135] Re: Sleep does not work after upgrading to 12.04. Just black screen or wallpaper and movable mouse cursor after opening the laptop lid.

2012-04-11 Thread Lazy
I just installed the latest package updates that were available and now
the suspending with kernel version 3.4.0-030400rc2-generic seems to be
working. This problem is probably some weird combination with kernel
version and some other packages.

[Bug 977135] Re: Sleep does not work after upgrading to 12.04. Just black screen or wallpaper and movable mouse cursor after opening the laptop lid.

2012-04-13 Thread Lazy
I wouldn't say that the latest kernel fixed this issue. Suspending
didn't work with 3.2.0-23 or 3.4.0-030400rc2 earlier. Only 3.0 kernel
worked at that point. When I upgraded the packages mentioned in the
history.log file attached earlier the suspending started to work with
these kernels. It seems to me that this issue is a combination with
kernel version and some other packages.

That one was missing. I had ia32libs installed, which was previously
enough and I think it even worked in Oneiric betas. After installing
ia32-libs-multiarch package OpenGL seems to be working again.

have to use my email on this computer, I had to remove evolution data
completely from my account and reconfigure it again. Now it works as
