[Bug 245405] [NEW] libtemplates-parser-dev and libxmlada2-dev are not built against latest gnat package

2008-07-04 Thread Lars Hagström
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libtemplates-parser-dev

Both the Ada packages libtemplates-parser-dev and libxmlada2-dev are built
against gnat-4.1.
Since gnat-4.2 is included in Hardy it would be nice to be able to have them
built against that instead.

I have two different bits of code that I'm working on, and one requires
the above libraries, and the other requires gnat-4.2. It quickly gets
annoying having to uninstall/reinstall these things when I'm building
these projects.

[Bug 298948] [NEW] xmlada

2008-11-17 Thread Lars Hagström
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libxmlada-dev

The xmlada.gpr file supplied with libxmlada-dev does not work for me. I
get a whole load of linker errors, along the lines of:

-xmlreaders.o:(.rodata+0x218): undefined reference to
`sax__readers__start_dtd'
-xmlreaders.o:(.rodata+0x21c): undefined reference to
`sax__readers__end_dtd'

Changing it to look like the gpr file supplied with libtemplates-parser-
dev made it work much better:

project XmlAda is
   for Source_Dirs use ("/usr/share/ada/adainclude/xmlada");
   for Library_Name use "xmlada";
   for Library_ALI_Dir use "/usr/lib/ada/adalib/xmlada";
   for Library_Dir use "/usr/lib";
   for Library_Kind use "dynamic";
   for Externally_Built use "true";
end XmlAda;

(I'm using ubuntu 8.10)

[Bug 263209] Re: Boost 1.36 in Intrepid

2008-10-07 Thread Lars Hagström
It would be great if Intrepid could include boost 1.36.
The project I'm working on uses boost.Interprocess quite heavily, and there are
a few bugs in 1.35 (notably in file_lock.hpp) that make the 1.35 release
unusable to me.

Found the bug in redhats bugzilla:

[Bug 967014] [NEW] xmlada-config script reports wrong version in Precise

2012-03-28 Thread Lars Hagström
Public bug reported:

Running "xmlada-config -v" in ubuntu precise (fully updated as of
2012-03-28) gives result "XmlAda 3.2" rather than the expected "XmlAda
4.1".

The script /usr/bin/xmlada-config needs to be updated to contain the new
version numbers.

Found a bug report on this in debian:

It looks like that it is fixed in debian libxmlada4.1-2.

Please include this fix in Precise!
