[Bug 276923] Re: "Back"- and "Forward"-buttons broken
Silly me... apparently this is caused by firefox not being able to write its browsing history due to limited disk space in the user-directory. Freeing up some space resolves the issue. I would, however, expect Firefox to give me some information about this. Should this perhaps be considered a usability-"bug"? -- "Back"- and "Forward"-buttons broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276923 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Tested on EeePC 701 4G using the latest daily build of Intrepid. [Bug 276923] Re: "Back"- and "Forward"-buttons broken - Firefox should inform when there is not enough disk space in user directory
Parthan SR: I updated the description accordingly. Pedro Villavicencio: Sorry, I can't attempt to reproduce this at the moment. As a mentioned in the original description, this was related to 8.10, and still seems to be an issue according to Michael Fallows' report from 2009-02-21. ** Summary changed: - "Back"- and "Forward"-buttons broken + "Back"- and "Forward"-buttons broken - Firefox should inform when there is not enough disk space in user directory ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 The functionality to navigate back and forward through recent browsing history using the appropriate buttons in the toolbar seems to be broken since the last update (yesterday?)
