Installing nginx-full and removing nginx-core seems to make it work with
no problems

[Bug 1012312] Re: [needs-packaging] Need package with development files for libftdi

2012-06-12 Thread Kurtis
I use 12.04
Sorry, I'm a little bit confused, because Synaptic doesn't show libftdi
available, but apt-cache indicates that this package is available (and I can
install it)

Please see a screenshot for Synaptic
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2632562/ubuntu/Screenshot%20from%202012-06-13%2008%3A48%3A23.png
and log for `apt-cache search ftdi`
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2632562/ubuntu/apt-cache_search_ftdi.log

>>Do you have "sources" enabled in Synaptic Package Manager?
Yes

[Bug 1665822] Re: fish crashed with SIGSEGV in __GI__IO_wfile_xsputn()

2017-02-24 Thread Kurtis Rader
I am a fish developer. What version of fish are you using? What does
`locale` report? Steps to reproduce? Can you set `ulimit -c unlimited`
and reproduce the problem to get a core dump for analysis? Note that we
recently made several changes to avoid mixing narrow and wide stdio
calls which can lead to unpredictable behavior so the fish version
you're using is important. Also, since it is more likely this is a fish
bug than a Ubuntu specific bug it will probably be more fruitful to open
an issue against the fish project: https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-
shell/issues/new

[Bug 636824] Re: [Conexant CX20582 (Pebble)] Recording problem

2010-09-18 Thread Kurtis Palmateer
::SOLVED::

- Upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick
- Installed PulseAudio Volume Control
- Installed Gnome Alsa Mixer
- Used alsamixer to unmute 'DC MODE ENABLE' and turned up 'DC INPUT BIAS'
- Now I get positive input levels from my built-in directional microphone.
