i don't know. i do not use last.fm anymore, because they arent free anymore in 
my country. still, banshee does the job better anyway for me. was it default in 
karmic?

i can make a test run for it, but that would be next week. but i don't
know how to catch the debug-data on it.

system just acts like i pressed ctrl+alt+L and locks the computer.
typing my password and i can just use my computer again.

but suddenly, amsn stops working correctly.

his screen-name is being reset to default every-time he logs in, and
when i chance screen-mode to "sort on status", amsn constantly reverts
back to "hybrid mode".

i needed to use the back-up configuration map in order to set its
settings normal again. but when i chance any setting, the problem does
occur again.

now it works.

just get the already know fglrx-error with the blank screen needing
reboot... but it is "fixed" now. but how could this happen? maybe it is
time to look at how we do prevent this bug for other users...

terminal:

but it says there is no package with that name. i am really new at

btw: i looked into synaptic, brasero does recommend dvdauthor.

[Bug 449772] [NEW] weird collers when switching to "ctrl-alt-F1 - F6"

i use fglrx with karmic and an ATI radeonHD3600( not 100% sure about the
3600 ), it goed fine, but when i switch to "ctrl-alt-F6", i get a weird
screen with static colours. pressing "ctrl-alt-F7" brings me back to a
normal screen.

not a big isue, because i can still use Gnome-terminal for those task.

aks me anything that could be helpfull.

this bug is not fixed yet.

it is clear that it us pulseaudio and gtick fighting for the sound-
device.

aaos gtick results in gtick not functionoing properly, it's resets the
metronome about 0,1sec after the first "tick"

should i report a new bug?

i recently switched to the dvorak keyboard-layout

but, the virtual terminals AND the login screen are still using qwerty.
as a result, if i need to drop back on the console,  i need to use qwerty,

i did already a lot of googling, but the advice seems outdated. i have already 
tried:
- using the keyboard-settings GUI
- sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
- sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-tools
- sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

i am currently running ubuntu 11.04 BETA

does the trick, but it won't survive a reboot.

the GUI components. a virtual terminal(cntrl+f1) will still use the old layout.

as a result, dropping back to a console will be impossible because that
is still using the old keyboard-layout.

2. after installation, chance the keyboard layout to something like dvorak. 
(try this with the GUI as wel with the CLI)

i reinstalled my netbook with ubuntu10.10 netbook remix
i need to use tuxguitar, and the unity interface screws up the menu's ( file, 
edit, ect.. ) making whole tuxguitar useless.
according to this post: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9951110 it 
also is a problem for more java-based apps.

for me it is a reason the switch back to 10.04, but before i do that, i
will provide the help i can give.

Op *Vrijdag 20 Augustus* om *21:00* geeft Bloed aan de muur zijn tweede *
concert*. We gaan spelen samen met drie andere bands op de bandmix van
Muzyq. De locatie is: *Atlantisplein 1, Amsterdam*. Toegang is *gratis*. We
hebben betere apparatuur, meer ervaring, langer de tijd en meer nummers dan
bij ons eerste concert op de muziekavond van het Altra. Jij bent net als al
je vrienden uitgenodigd om naar de show van Bloed aan de muur te komen
kijken en er samen een topgig van te maken.
