Gnome has the same problem Selecting Kubuntu Human using the gnome-theme selector also causes gnome to crash. On subsequent logins, nothing displays. [Bug 19066] Re: Pango-enabled firefox breaks MathML support
I'm running Firefox 2.0.0.4 and I only get decent MathML support with pango disabled. [Bug 68971] Re: Math symbols not displayed, substituted with red TeX tags
When lyx doesn't have the font for some tex commends it substitutes red text. Do you have the package latex-xft-fonts installed? I think this should provide nice looking fonts for you. Perhaps lyx should depend on the package latex-xft-fonts so that it looks good by default. -- Math symbols not displayed, substituted with red TeX tags https://launchpad.net/bugs/68971 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 68971] Re: Math symbols not displayed, substituted with red TeX tags
hmmm - I don't think there was that dependance in dapper either. The maintainers of this package are listed as the Debian LyX Maintainers who probably don't read launchpad. I suggest you report a bug to them. Lyx should depend on latex-xft-fonts you can email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] they might have some good reason for not including this as a dependancy. -- Math symbols not displayed, substituted with red TeX tags https://launchpad.net/bugs/68971 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 68364] Re: network-manager blocks my keyboard
I have a similar problem with network manager. When I plug in my wireless card the computer completely freezes and an I have to do a hard reboot. my wireless card uses the prism 2/2.5/3 chipset (it is a linksys wpc11 ver 3) this happens using both the orinoco and hostap drives for my card. (to get the hostap driver working i have to blacklist the orinoco_cs module ) also even after removing network manager, gnome becomes very sluggish. Applications take ages to load. -- network-manager blocks my keyboard https://launchpad.net/bugs/68364 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
