[Bug 865244] [NEW] The application crashes aftera a few moments.

2011-10-03 Thread Kees Meijs
Public bug reported:

When starting a new game, the application crashes after a few moments.
This is a known bug and there's a patch available
(http://dengine.net/dew/index.php?title=User_talk:Yagisan#svn_4165_dd_zone.c).

There's a new version in Debian sid, being 1.9.0-beta6.9+dfsg1-2,
containing a bugfix for the crash behaviour. Also some linking issues
have been resolved, allowing the package to be built on other
architectures as wel.

Upgrading 1.9.0-beta6.9+dfsg1-1 to 1.9.0-beta6.9+dfsg1-2 should be
enough to fix this bug.

** Affects: deng (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 267586] Re: [needs-packaging] Doomsday

2010-11-23 Thread Kees Meijs
As requested (by the Doomsday Engine community as well) I'm packaging
outside the Debian/Ubuntu repositories. Please see
http://blog.keesmeijs.nl/debian-ubuntu for APT repositories.

Meanwhile, I'm in the process of getting the package in Debian, so it'll
end up in Ubuntu as well. I'll fix the ITP/RFP bugs later (on
bugs.debian.org).

Cheers,
Kees

I'll open a new ticket on Doomsday Engine and mention it here (and in
the existing tickets as well, of course).
