[Bug 259168] Re: Network Manager unable to connect to PPTP VPN
@Alberto Telling people that 0.7 is "better in many ways" is not very compelling considering that application is missing critical functionality. 0.7 is not ready for a release environment. There is no "almost" about it for me. I am using Vista x64 for the next few months until all of this get sorted out. I am sorry to be so negative. I really appreciate the work you guys are doing, but this really cuts into Ubuntu's credibility. -- Network Manager unable to connect to PPTP VPN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259168 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 368695] Re: Unhelpful error message
The TightVNC message leads me to believe that the arguments that are being passed are not correct. [Bug 107404] Re: Workstation lockup using rdp/vnc client
Gnome-RDP is a front end to rdesktop and tightvnc. Therefore, these problems really have to be bugged as problems with those apps. Gnome- RDP's role in this process is simple to track your different session information / preferences and launch the appropriate app when you request it. For this reason, I am closing this bug report. [Bug 128133] Re: Another user already logged on
OK, so I looked at the code and I think I know what's going on here. If you have the sound option set to either "Play on remote host" or "Play on this host", the session is also being set to use the -0 option of rdesktop. This causes your session to connect to the console instead of as a normal connection. Since there can only be 1 console user at a time, you are seeing the prompt that was mentioned above. FWIW, if the sound option is set to "No sound output", the -0 (console) option is not being added. I don't know why the original program authors felt it was necessary to force connections with sound to attach to the console. I know this is not required for the windows RDP client (mstsc.exe) I am reluctant to change this for fear of breaking something I don't understand. As a workaround, you can set the sound option to "No sound output" which I feel should stop it from connecting to the console. ** Changed in: gnome-rdp (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: gnome-rdp (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Kamujin (james-p-michels) -- Another user already logged on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128133 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 95853] Re: Delete file in Nautlus - no warning
This is a no brainer that most software developers figured out decades ago. I can't think of one legitimate reason that this should not be an option. It's far to easy to make the mistake of moving a file/folder to the trash bin without noticing. There should be an option to confirm any delete or move to trash operation. Aside from the fat finger mistakes, there is the occasional confusion about which window has focus that can lead to an unwanted move to trash. -- Delete file in Nautlus - no warning https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95853 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
