Hi Sebastian, Sorry for the delay. I will test out the issue today and add relevant images. Re: [Bug 1242966] Re: Image viewer doesn't save image rotation changes
Hi, I tried out the image rotation today and I am unable to reproduce it. I tried a couple different images with couple different combinations but it appears to be working. I wonder if anything changed/got updated in the the mean time. Anyways, it appears like the functionality is working as expected. Sorry for the trouble. [Bug 793450] Re: Calendar applet does not show today's date
I don't agree this is a low priority bug. This bug throws off new users when they need to look at today's date form some reason. I have helped 3 colleagues - business as well as tech - to switch from Windows to Ubuntu and almost all of them were un-pleasantly surprised by this bug. Even if this was a low priority bug, I think it should be easy to fix. Small and nice little improvements like these add up to make a noticable positive impact on the usability of Ubuntu/Unity desktop. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/793450 Title: Calendar applet does not show today's date To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-datetime/+bug/793450/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1242054] [NEW] ubuntu notifications won't switch back to normal text
Public bug reported: Steps to recreate: - Connect to Wifi (or any action that triggers notifications with textual info). Notifications are in normal text/font size. - Go to Settings > Universal Access and change Large Text to ON - Text/font everywhere switches to large immediately - Disconnect Wifi (or any action that triggers notifications with textual info). Notifications are in large text/font size. - Go to Settings > Universal Access and change Large Text to OFF - Text/font everywhere switches to normal size immediately - Connect to Wifi (or any action that triggers notifications with textual info). Notifications are still in large text/font size. Affects: Ubuntu 13.10 Unity Desktop Description: After doing a clean install of Ubuntu 13.10 I thought the text was too small on my ThinkPad T430s 1600x900 screen. So I went to Settings > Universal Access > Large Text - ON. The text/font everywhere switched to "large mode" including notifications. I truned OFF the Large Text setting and text/font everywhere switched back to normal size - except notifications.
