2013-11-02 Thread Kain Branford
Added duplicates to show the same error happened to 13.04, and another user.
I hope it's helpful. I've been experiencing myself this same bug on my pavilion
but when i try to report the bug it won't let me log in to report it.

^Nick, I followed the steps in the workaround. Still experiencing the
same problem, unity won't load, and if try to start compiz it will fail
too. Also the workaround shows an AMD watermark in the lower right.

2012-09-20 Thread Kain Branford
I'm experiencing this too on my Macbook Air 3,1

Installed 12.04.1 in both 32 and 64bit and have the same problem, using
noveau or nvidia-current.

also experiencing it in 12.10 beta (64 bit) , had to uninstall it
because I couldn't log in, the graphics went crazy.

[Bug 1051020] Re: MacBookAir3, 1 has pulsing pixelated vertical line down right side of screen after suspend/resume

2012-09-20 Thread Kain Branford
This bug affects 12.04.1 both 32 and 64 bit , but only after running an
update with update manager, i couldn't pin point which one is the
package updated that creates this bug, since there's over 400 updates =(

installing the propietary nvidia driver will solve the problem, but then
brightness settings will be lost =(
