[Bug 158177] Evince presentations start in a window if evince is fullscreen and compiz is enabled
Public bug reported: Running Ubuntu 7.10: The problem may be with Compiz, because it does not seem to occur when Desktop Effects are disabled. The problem I am having is in Evince, though. When viewing a document in Evince, go into fullscreen mode, then start a presentation (using the keyboard shortcut or the Start Presentation button). The presentation will appear in a window, when it should be fullscreen. The presentation will be fullscreen if Evince is not already in fullscreen mode. [Bug 128651] Re: gtk-window-decorator crashed with SIGSEGV
I experienced a crash when trying to open the window menu in a full- screen window. A bug that seemed pretty similar to mine was marked as a duplicate of this one. This happens consistently for me in Firefox and Evince (not in gnome- terminal). I have not tested it extensively but I tried it on a few windows that I already had open. I make the window full-screen, and hit the shortcut to open the window menu. The menu fails to appear. I restore the window to regular size and find that all my window borders are gone. Compiz seems to still be running but without gtk-window- decorator. I'm using Glossy controls, Clearlooks border and Tangerine icons: all came with the default Gutsy install. ** Attachment added: "Crash report" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10200469/_usr_bin_gtk-window-decorator.1000.crash -- gtk-window-decorator crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128651 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 156903] Re: gnome-about-me: "No Image" sets a generic face instead of no image
Hi I'd just like to confirm that this behavior is really desired. After I click "No Image", my face is set to that icon. It doesn't just show up in the About Me menu. For instance, when I am unlocking my screen saver, that picture is there. That seems odd to me. ** Attachment added: "gnome-screensaver with face" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11849841/after.png -- gnome-about-me: "No Image" sets a generic face instead of no image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156903 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 156903] Re: gnome-about-me: "No Image" sets a generic face instead of no image
Before changing any About Me settings, the screen saver unlock dialog has no image at all. When I choose "No Image", a file called .face (which is an svg image, attached earlier) is created in my home directory, and it is used in the screen saver dialog. I have to delete /home/myuser/.face to really have no image again. So the button labeled No Image actually causes an image to be created. It seems to me that it should delete /home/user/.face if present, not create it. Or that the button should say "Default" instead. ** Attachment added: "gnome-screensaver without face" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11867130/before.png -- gnome-about-me: "No Image" sets a generic face instead of no image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156903 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
