Confirm the above error on Hardy with a HP K550 Officejet Pro. I can
however use the CLI and this command "hp-info" and the supplies are
reported.

I see that there is still no update to this. I do find it puzzling that
with so many people using a LAMP environment this is still not fixed on
the latest issue of Ubuntu.

[Bug 660259] Re: dictionary app. won't execute word look up

2010-10-22 Thread John Crawford
Alexander,

I'm still not getting any definitions via the app. I'm now getting this
msg after entering word for look-up.

 * Error while looking up definition

 * Connection failed to the dictionary server at dict.org:2628

If dict.org is still down it's their problem, if not, something in the
app. is keeping the connection from completing.

Let me know if you need any other info.

2010-10-28 Thread John Crawford
Alexander,

As of today, the dictionary app. is working. dict.org must be back up and
working now. Thanks for the above work-around.
If I have any further problems I may have to try it as I use this app. on a
daily basis.

Thanks
