[Bug 1296288] Re: pcscd crashes when disconnecting / reconnecting USB device
I am using device 1a44:0001 VASCO Data Security International Digipass 905 SmartCard Reader I am on Ubuntu 14.04. Unplugging or plugging in this device causes pscsd to crash. Syslog output: Jul 26 18:36:10 Studio-Hybrid-140g kernel: [ 1869.326342] pcscd[5518]: segfault at 7fd75e71f248 ip 7fd75e71f248 sp 7fd75e70fee0 error 14 in libgcc_s.so.1[7fd75e92d000+16000] Not able to resolve the crash, and get my card reader reliably working. BUT I have a workaround, for who's fighting with this. Kill pcscd. Plug the smart card reader in, and within one second (!) restart pcscd: sudo service pcscd restart The smartcard reader gets detected, and pcscd keeps on running. For what it's worth... Me too. I cannot install any package anymore through Software Center, synaptic package manager or apt-get. [Bug 976806] Re: [arrandale] GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x02000024
Same issues here. I have a HP probook 6550b. Two days ago I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04. During the first day, nothing was unstable. The problems seem to begin after I installed cairo-dock. I have disabled cairo-dock, and since my system seem to run again stable. Perhaps this helps for somebody else. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/976806 Title: [arrandale] GPU lockup render.IPEHR: 0x0224 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/976806/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 365300] Re: Randomly I get double clicks when I do a single click.
Logitech wireless USB mouse on 12.04. Single mouse click ~15% of the time registered as a double click. I repeat some of the words above: most irritating, and frustrating, bug that I've seen in some time. Somebody, please provide a solution that avoids super-human clicks. Thanks... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/365300 Title: Randomly I get double clicks when I do a single click. This affects me too.
