You may need to upgrade your kernel. Your version of Ubuntu is also
pretty darn old.

This bug has stopped biting me. I have tested on separate hardware and
it has been solved on both.

Step 1. Update VirtualBox to version 3.1.6
Step 2. Boot into Ubuntu, clicking through any "low graphics mode" warnings
Step 3. Install VBox guest additions (requires dkms)
Step 4. aptitude update && aptitude safe-upgrade -y (this should bring in new
kernel headers and such)
Step 5. Reboot
Step 6. Profit

[Bug 899968] Re: Swedish language support are missing

This bug seems to apply to the Swedish language pack, and not the
Swedish dictionary.

[Bug 906171] Re: Swedish language package for Ubuntu 10.04 has no dependencies

2013-07-08 Thread Jeremiah C. Foster
Hi,

I'm the maintainer of the Swedish package in Debian. Swedish is the name
of the Swedish dictionary in Debian and Ubuntu inherits from Debian so I
guess I'm the maintainer (or co-maintainer) of Swedish in Ubuntu too.

I'm interested in closing bugs in Swedish, but to place my priorities in
the right place, I need to know if this bug is still open. If you
receive this email I'd be grateful if you mentioned that this is still a
problem or not as the case may be.

Thanks,

Jeremiah

One thing to note is that this was being run in VirtualBox on a 2009
Apple Powerboook.
