[Bug 92482] Re: NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop
I was having the same problem on my Thinkpad R51. I found a solution that worked for me here: http://kogs-www.informatik.uni- hamburg.de/~meine/thinkpad under the section "Making the Numlock work again". Basically just run this command (I put it in my .bash_profile so it is applied every time I boot): xmodmap -e "keycode 77 = Num_Lock" Hope it works for you guys. -- NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92482 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 92482] Re: NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop
Sorry, I spoke too soon. This fixed another related problem I was having using a USB numeric keypad with my Thinkpad, but the problem with Caps lock setting the Num lock still exists. -- NumLock gets enabled unexpectedly on my laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92482 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
