[Bug 278110] Re: Sauerbraten loses fullscreen and input with compiz enabled
I am on 32-bit with Gnome and Compiz and I lose control of the mouse. Resolution is fine, though. -- Sauerbraten loses fullscreen and input with compiz enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278110 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Unchecked "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows" in General Settings, fixed everything for me. -- Sauerbraten loses fullscreen and input with compiz enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278110 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 448710] Re: Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box
Hi Ahmedh, My previous patch made too many unnecessary changes, use this instead. It changes the behavior of status-icon-mode 2, and is just a one-line fix. You should be able to drop it into the debian/patches directory and build normally, i.e: $ sudo apt-get build-dep rhythmbox $ apt-get source rhythmbox $ cp 99_fix_status_icon_mode_2.patch rhythmbox-0.12.5/debian/patches/ $ cd rhythmbox-0.12.5 $ dpkg-buildpackage After you install the deb, change your status icon preferences to 'Always Visible'. ** Attachment added: "Make status-icon-mode 2 have the behavior of Jaunty Rhythmbox" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36503381/99_fix_status_icon_mode_2.patch -- Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 448710] Re: Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box
I don't know why this is so hard to explain. Ok, so by default rhythmbox hides itself when you click the close box, as opposed to exiting. To fix this, one can set the value of status-icon-mode to 2, then rhythmbox exits when you click close. Fair enough. Now, a WHOLE NEW ISSUE comes up when status-icon-mode is set to 2, and that is: clicking the status icon does not minimize rhythmbox to the status tray. The only fix for this is to set status-icon-mode back to 3, in which case we have to deal with the non-exiting close button again. I admit that these are two separate issues, and should probably have separate reports, in which case I would call the second one "clicking status-icon does not minimize rhythmbox when status-icon-mode is set to 2". But they are closely tied together (and they make it impossible for people to have a rhythmbox that behaves like it did in jaunty) ANYWAYS, I have recently switched to Kubuntu, per suggestion of a friend, therefore this issue no longer affects me, and this will be my last comment. -- Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 448710] Re: Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box
When status-icon-mode is set to 2, clicking the tray icon minimizes Rhythmbox normally, not to the tray (?). But, yes, it does make the close button exit. -- Rhythmbox can't be shut down via close box https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/448710 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
