[Bug 340535] [NEW] The image capture by my laptop camera is inverse.

2009-03-10 Thread Iñigo Lekanda
Public bug reported:

My laptop (Asus X59SL) has integrated camera. This camera is 1.3M
uvcvideo compliant.

The captured image for videochat is inverse (vflip). I have search
option for change or do the flip but Kopete hasn't.

I have try with diferentes parameters at the moment of load uvcvideo
module. Don't support vflip. I read that quirks=1 correct the problem
but not for me.

Is is posible to made the vflip? It would be nice this in Kopete.

[Bug 341444] [NEW] SiS190 ethernet driver fails in 64 bits Kubuntu Jaunty.

2009-03-11 Thread Iñigo Lekanda
Public bug reported:

My computer is a Asus X59SL (AP382C) notebook.

With Kubuntu Jaunty 64 bits (Alpha 5) SiS190 ethernet driver fails. The
32 bits version has not problem.

The module load correctly. The driver get IP via DHCP but don't receive
traffic. Apparently only send traffic. Ping show "Destination host
unreachable.

The routes are correctly. The commands lspci y dmesg in 64 bits version
show this:

[Bug 343393] [NEW] File transfer hangs with KDE.

2009-03-15 Thread Iñigo Lekanda
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

Transfer of large file (about 700 Mbytes) with KDE always hangs. With
Dolphin and with Konqueror.

The same system but with the gnome desktop do always fine.

- I use a window with my local folder and another window with my remote (fish)
folder.
- I use drag and drop for file 1.
- Inmediatly drag and drop for file 2.
- Click over (i) at notification zone for open transfer progress.
- The transfer bitrates of file 1 and file 2 are very different (1,8M and
500K). With gnome I have very similar transfers (1,1M and 1,1M).
- File transfer hangs but not at the same moment.

[Bug 343393] Re: File transfer hangs with KDE.

2009-03-22 Thread Iñigo Lekanda
More information:
- The problem is with WIFI but WIFI run without problems (no packets drops no
retry ... no problem). With ethernet bitrates are different but no hangs.
- In KDE desktop I can run Nautilus and run fine. Always Konqueror or Dolphin
hangs.
- Console applications run fine.

I think that network layer or KDE has the problem (perhaps related with
NetworkManager in KDE but no in GTK).
